The Dodge Viper, also called the SRT-10 in the UK is an homage to the classic American sports cars. The Viper has risen to fame in the over twenty years following its released, and became an iconic image of the sports car. Its muscular, minimalist frame has been on the cover of magazines, videos and films.
The Dodge Viper SRT-10 has been tuned by various companies, large or small, and even by amateurs, but few can claim to have been successful. The Viper is already an aggressive, high performance car, so it takes some imagination and know-how to make it even better. If anyone could pull off tuning the Viper, it was the American tuning company Hennessey Performance Engineering. The Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo Dodge Viper SRT has almost a double output compared to the original Viper. The car’s exterior retains its distinctive shape. The new bodykit is named Venom Aero, but except some plastic bits there isn't much that has changed. But Hennessey really showed what they're capable of when it comes to the Viper's engine. It takes only 2.26 seconds for the new Viper to jump from 0 to 60 mph.
Another one of Hennessey’s masterpieces is the Neiman Marcus Special Edition Hennessey Venom 700 NM that can spit out 700 bhp/ 522kW and 645lb-ft of massive torque. The Neiman Marcus Special also has a few upgrades, for example the Venom Aero Exterior Aerodynamic Upgrades and lightweight alloy wheel upgrade (19x10 inch front; 20x13 inch rear). This Venom model is nothing but cheap, but that's quite understandable seeing as Hennessey has produced only seven cars.
