Lamborghini Gallardo tuning

The Gallardo, produced by Italian manufacturer Lamborghini, is the company’s most successful model to date. There are several variants on the classic Gallardo, each with their own improvements and special features. This, however, did not stop car enthusiasts to come up with their own modified versions of the car. Tuning Lamborghinis has almost become a sport in itself, with entire magazines dedicated to it where fans can keep themselves informed about the latest tunes.

One of the most unique tunes of the Gallardo belongs to ENCO Exclusive. Belgian designer Luc Donckerwolke, the Gallardo’s creator, decided to ditch curves and create a sharp and edgy Gallardo car. ENCO Exclusive works a bit on Donckerwolke shapes but that's not the biggest change brought to the Gallardo. The 5.2 litre V10 engine. The ten cylinder engine can now develop an impressive 620 horsepower instead of 560, with torque up from 540 to 575 Nm.

Another highly successful tune belongs to Edo Competition. The German company has managed to improve performance by increasing power output to 600 horsepower at 7,970 rpm and the torque output to 572 Nm (422 ft-lb) at 6,845 rpm. Edo has also introduced a brand new exhaust system. The stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with butterfly valves is an attractive proposition. Not only is the sound level adjustable via remote, the exhaust also frees up 15 horsepower and lets the driver enjoy a whole new experience.

The specialists at IMSA have taken the Lamborghini and reworked it according to their own philosophy. Their chassis modifications include a front skirt, widened wheel housing for front and rear, side skirts, a rear skirt and a special rear spoiler that ensures greater power output.
